About Jessica

Jessica is a Washington, D.C. native committed to serving her community through her legal practice and philanthropy. At Capitol Domestic Law Group LLP, Jessica advises clients in family law and landlord-tenant matters, and strives to accomplish her clients’ goals through proactive and creative problem-solving. Jessica prides herself on being a responsive and effective advocate for each of her clients. Prior to founding contact Capitol Domestic Law Group., Jessica worked as a tax associate at a large law firm based in Washington, D.C., where she litigated complex tax matters and advised large companies on the tax implications of various transactions. Jessica also litigated family law matters on a pro bono basis at her prior firm, which sparked her interest in litigating family matters full time. During law school, Jessica gained valuable experience as a law clerk at the United States Department of Labor where she issued opinions related to EEOC claims. At the United States Department of Justice, Jessica served as a legal intern within the Civil Frauds division, litigating multi-million dollar whistleblower claims. At the Eastern District of Virginia, Jessica served as a summer law clerk for the Honorable Anthony J. Trenga, drafting opinions on a variety of cases before the court. Jessica also clerked for Fay Law Group before joining as an associate, where she litigates a variety of matters, including civil rights, labor and employment and products liability. In addition to her legal practice, Jessica has served as a tenant advocate for Rockville City Council’s Landlord Tenant Commission. Jessica also participates in various pro bono clinics including Maryland Volunteer Legal Services. Jessica is a trained Mediator for domestic matters and offers co-parenting coaching for parents seeking to strengthen their parenting relationship.
